Youth detention review
The Independent Review into Youth Detention took place in 2016. The Review examined the practices, policies and programs of Queensland's youth detention centres, and made 83 recommendations to the Queensland Government.
The government accepted all 83 recommendations.
The government’s Youth Justice team took the lead in implementing the recommendations made by the review. Information about the project is available on the department's website.
